Application Details
Points to be considered in the application of Selsil Styro Adhesive Foam;
Application temperature: min. +5°C/+41°F
Temperature Resistance: -40°C/-40°F to +100°C/+212°F
• Before the application, old coatings that are thought to be compromised on the substrate to be bonded are scraped and smoothed with surface repair mortars.
• The application surface should be hard, clean, and free of grease and dirt. The surface can be cleaned with pressurized water if not sufficiently clean.
• Dry surfaces should be moistened before starting the process.
• Before starting to foam, the can should be shaken homogeneously 30 times. Low temperature cans should be kept at room temperature for 20 minutes before use.
• Adhesive Foam Grade is used for bonding of insulation panels, decorative elements, and also filling gaps and cavities.

Storage is 12 months when stored at +5ºC/41ºF to +25ºC/77ºF.

A one-component polyurethane mounting foam that is cured by atmospheric moisture and can be used for bonding of thermal insulation boards (Polystyrene XPS/EPS) and decorative materials such as jambs.

Properties

  • One-component.
  • Moisture cured.
  • Excellent adhesion to most construction materials
  • Cuttable and paintable after curing.
